I developed an interest in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to help me better understand how this form of medicine could succeed where others had failed. Years ago, several car accidents and a rollerblading mishap within a short span of time left me with debilitating neck pain and occipital headaches that persisted for 7 years. My medical team could not find a clear cause for my pain and could only offer muscle relaxers and pain medication to alleviate my discomfort. Physical Therapy and Chiropractic offered some relief, but I was still experiencing frequent flare-ups. A co-worker saw that I was dealing with a lot of pain and pushed me to give Acupuncture a try. I was able to experience significant relief at the first appointment and was amazed at how relaxed I felt during and after my treatment. Through consistent follow-up treatments, I was able to achieve 100% improvement over the course of a series of treatments.
This profound pain relief and life-changing healing led me to pursue my Master’s of Acupuncture, (M.Ac., Maryland University for Integrative Health, 2009), then my Doctorate of Acupuncture, (D.Ac., Pacific College of Health and Science, 2021) and establishing Baltimore Acupuncture LLC. I have been serving my Baltimore community since 2009, helping others experience the relief that I found through my own healing journey. I look forward to helping you feel better.
